Prograis Scores First Win Since 2023 – Beats Díaz

On 2 August in Chicago, USA, former American champions Regis Prograis (30-3, 24 KOs), 36, and Joseph Díaz, 32, (34-8-1, 15 КО) squared off in a scheduled 10-round bout.

The contest ended with Prograis prevailing by unanimous decision: 98-92 and twice 96-94.

For Prograis, this was his first appearance since autumn 2024, when he dropped a decision to Jack Catterall. It’s also his first victory since 2023.

For Díaz, it was already his second outing of 2025. Earlier in the year he outboxed Mexican foe Valencia over eight rounds, snapping a three-fight skid.
