On the night of June 15 in Hermosillo, Mexico, local former two-division world champion Juan Francisco Estrada (45-4, 29 KOs), 35, faced fellow Mexican Karim Arce (21-2-2, 8 KOs) in a bout at Bantamweight (up to 53.5 kg).
The fight went the full 10 rounds and ended with a unanimous decision victory for Estrada. Judges scored the bout 100–87, 99–88, and 98–89 in favor of the former champion. During the fight, Estrada dropped Arce three times.
This marked Estrada’s first appearance since his bout with Jesse Rodriguez in June 2024, where Rodriguez stopped him in the 7th round.
Karim Arce had last fought in July, earning a unanimous decision win over Kevin Villanueva.
