Fury Says He Beat Usyk in the Rematch

Former unified heavyweight champion Tyson Fury claims he actually defeated Oleksandr Usyk in their winter-2024 rematch.

Listen, my last fight was a clear, bloody Gypsy King win. Anyone who knows boxing saw it. Absolute dog-****, yeah? Politics or whatever you want to call it.

I gave an interview and just walked off. The moment they read the decision I said, ‘I accept it, I’m a man, I don’t make excuses. Let’s move on.’

I got paid, had my fun, went home. Happy days. I’m back with the family and I’m happy. I’m home in Morecambe—training twice a day, going wherever I like, having a pint when I fancy, eating what I want, walking as much as I please, doing whatever I want. Know why? Because I’ve earned that right,” said Fury.

In 2024 Usyk defeated Fury twice, after which the Briton announced his retirement.
