Eubank and Warren Reconcile: Defamation Case Settled

Frank Warren, founder and head of Queensberry Promotions, and IBO middleweight champion Chris Eubank Jr. (35-3, 25 KOs) have amicably resolved their defamation lawsuit and announced plans to pursue professional cooperation moving forward.

In a joint statement released on May 19, representatives from both camps confirmed that a settlement had been reached, putting the legal conflict behind them.

Frank Warren and Chris Eubank Jr. have confirmed that the defamation proceedings brought against Mr. Eubank Jr. have been settled amicably.

Now that the dispute has been resolved, both Frank Warren and Chris Eubank Jr. look forward to a positive professional relationship,” the statement from Queensberry Promotions read.

The dispute originated from a fiery press conference in September 2024, during which Eubank publicly insulted Warren, calling him a “conman” and a “scumbag,” and accusing him of dishonest practices in boxing over the years.

Although Eubank later issued an apology, Warren proceeded to file a defamation suit in the High Court in London. The case began in December 2024, where Judge Robert Jay urged both parties to consider mediation, noting that such matters were often best resolved outside the courtroom.

Eventually, both sides reached a peaceful settlement, closing the chapter on their legal standoff.
