Dillian Whyte Off June 7 Card, Eyes Major August Fight

British promoter Frank Warren has confirmed that Dillian Whyte will no longer appear on the June 7 card as originally planned. Instead, Whyte is now expected to return in August in what’s described as a significantly bigger fight.

“He won’t be on the card anymore. He’s now got the chance for a big, big fight in August, and we’re trying to finalize it.

It’s a really important bout for him, so it takes priority. He wants it — it’s a much bigger fight than what he would’ve had in Ipswich. That’s exactly what’s happening. It’s truly a very big fight,” said Warren.

The 37-year-old Whyte last fought in December 2024, defeating Ebenezer Tetteh via seventh-round stoppage.
