Official: Wardley and Miller to Clash for Interim WBA Title

Promotional outfit Queensberry Promotions has officially announced a heavyweight clash (over 90.7 kg / 200 lbs) between British and Commonwealth champion Fabio Wardley (18-0-1, 17 KOs) and American powerhouse Jarrell Miller (26-1-2, 22 KOs).

The bout will take place on June 7 at Portman Road Stadium in Ipswich, England—Wardley’s hometown. On the line will be the WBA interim heavyweight title. The fight also marks Miller’s debut on UK soil.

The winner will go on to face the victor of the WBA mini-tournament’s other semifinal between Kubrat Pulev and Michael Hunter.

Back in October, Wardley delivered a stunning first-round TKO over fellow Brit Frazer Clarke in their rematch.

Miller, on the other hand, hasn’t strung together two wins in a row recently. He was knocked out in the 10th round by Daniel Dubois in December 2023, and fought Andy Ruiz to a draw in June 2024.
