Jake Paul’s Promoter Says Usyk’s Team Reached Out About a Fight

Nakisa Bidarian, promoter of influencer and boxer Jake Paul, confirmed that talks have taken place regarding a potential fight with two-time undisputed world champion Oleksandr Usyk.

Jake himself expressed interest in making the move to MMA:

“I want to be like Holly Holm and test myself in the cage. This is something I’m really interested in, and I think it’ll be a big spectacle.

Nate Diaz is still hiding, but we’ll find a worthy opponent. Maybe Usyk. Maybe Tommy Fury,” said Paul.

Bidarian added that Usyk’s team had reached out behind the scenes:

“Usyk has called Jake out in MMA many times. They’ve contacted us behind the scenes — they want a fight in 2026. That’s something we’re definitely going to pursue,” the promoter stated.

Usyk has indeed mentioned Jake Paul in the past and said he would be open to facing him under MMA rules.

Holly Holm, whom Paul referenced, recently signed with his promotional company and announced her return to boxing.
