Turki: “We Offered Canelo Cooperation Until Retirement”

Turki Alalshikh, head of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority, held a meeting with former undisputed Super Middleweight champion Saul Alvarez.

According to Turki, the discussion focused on Canelo’s immediate future and the possibility of extending his collaboration with Riyadh Season.

I just visited the champion. Soon he will begin his vacation with his family. He still has two fights under Riyadh Season in 2026. We offered him the chance to work with us until the end of his career and retirement.

I want to give special thanks to Canelo for his gift — he gave me his fight gloves, and I truly appreciate it,” wrote Turki Alalshikh.

On the night of September 14, Terence Crawford (42-0, 31 KOs) defeated Canelo Alvarez (63-3-2, 39 KOs) by unanimous decision to become the first fighter in the four-belt era to hold undisputed championships in three weight divisions. Detailed fight statistics from RTF are available at the provided link.
