Turki Alalshikh Announces End to PPV from November

The Chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority Turki Alalshikh has declared that Riyadh Season and The Ring boxing shows will be streamed free of charge for all DAZN subscribers.

“Had a wonderful meeting with my brother Shay, the CEO of DAZN. We share a big vision for boxing’s growth, and we’ve decided: no more pay-per-view.

Starting with our Ring Magazine show in November, every Riyadh Season and The Ring event will be free to DAZN subscribers. The PPV model has hurt boxing, and we will no longer support it. We’re on the fans’ side,” Turki wrote.
