Troy Williamson knocks out Callum Simpson

In the early hours of December 21 at the First Direct Arena in Leeds, UK, a super middleweight (up to 76.2 kg) clash took place for the BBBofC British, Commonwealth Boxing Council and EBU European titles between Callum Simpson (18-1, 13 KOs) and Troy Williamson (22-4-1, 16 KOs).

The fight ended inside the distance — in the 10th round Williamson sent his opponent to the canvas four times, after which the referee stopped the bout. TKO 10.

This is the first defeat of Simpson’s professional career. For Williamson, it was a second consecutive victory.
