Trainer: "Usyk Has Been Doing This Since the Olympics"

Renowned American trainer Teddy Atlas shared his thoughts on the fight between Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) and Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) for the undisputed heavyweight championship.

"Before this fight, I said that Usyk's greatest talent is his ability to find a way to win! And he did just that. Both fighters showed immense effort and courage.

I often talk about how it's not enough to fight like a champion; you also need to conduct yourself like one. Tonight, both of them did just that, earning respect and admiration.

We understood the physical capabilities of both, but Usyk's victory came from his less noticeable ability to find a way to win. He's been doing this since the Olympics," Atlas wrote.

The fight lasted all 12 rounds and ended with Usyk winning by split decision. Oleksandr Usyk is the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis, who achieved the feat in a rematch against Evander Holyfield on November 13, 1999.
