Teofimo Lopez Apologizes to Turki Alalshikh

WBO super lightweight champion Teofimo Lopez has issued a public apology to Turki Alalshikh, the head of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority.

“To His Excellency Turki Alalshikh, I take full responsibility for my inappropriate comments on the X app.

I publicly apologize to His Excellency, and moving forward, I will conduct myself with greater respect, humility, and professionalism. Sending love and light to everyone. Thank you,” Lopez wrote.

The apology follows a series of now-deleted posts where Lopez referred to Turki Alalshikh using the term “DICKtator,” among other remarks.
