On June 8, at the Ariake Colosseum in Tokyo, Japan, Tenshin Nasukawa (7-0, 2 KOs) continued his rise in the bantamweight division (up to 53.5 kg) with a dominant unanimous decision victory over Victor Santillan (14-2, 5 KOs) of the Dominican Republic.
The bout, which served as the co-main event of the evening, went the full ten rounds. Judges scored it 99-91 (twice) and 100-90, all in favor of the Japanese fighter.
Back in February, Nasukawa also won a decision against Jason Moloney. Santillan, who last fought in June 2024, had earned a unanimous decision win over Alfri Ramirez. This latest result marks his second loss in his last three fights.
