Senchenko Confident Usyk Will Win the Rematch

Former world champion Vyacheslav Senchenko believes that in a potential rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury, the Ukrainian will emerge victorious once again.

- Both sides have expressed readiness for a rematch. If Usyk wins the second fight as well, what then? What will be his motivation to continue his professional career?

- It's hard to say. As we know, there's already a belt being contested by one of the versions. So, it won't be a fight for the undisputed champion anymore. Maybe they will leave these belts for the rematch, and then contest them later. There are already contenders. Usyk will have to either defend them or vacate them.

Perhaps they will indeed have another rematch for the undisputed title, and then, most likely, Usyk will not defend each belt. It's a huge burden if every organization forces him to fight. This would require him to fight every 2-3 months. I think if he wins the rematch, he will have 1-2 more fights.

- What are your expectations for the rematch?

- It could be similar to the rematch with Joshua. Maybe Usyk will push and knock him out. My prediction remains the same as now – I don't think Fury will beat Oleksandr, said Senchenko.

On the night of May 19, Usyk became a two-time undisputed champion after defeating Tyson Fury by split decision.
