Sam Goodman Scores Dominant Win Over Cesar Espinoza

26-year-old Australian Sam Goodman (20-0, 8 KOs) secured a convincing victory over Mexican Cesar “Vaca” Espinoza (19-2-1, 12 KOs).

The fight ended with a dominant decision in favor of the IBF title contender: 100-90, 99-91, and 99-92 on the judges’ scorecards.

During the bout, Goodman suffered yet another cut — this time above his right eye.

In January 2025, Goodman was twice lined up to face Naoya Inoue, but both opportunities were scrapped after he suffered cuts above his left eye in separate training and fight-week incidents.
