American super lightweight boxer Regis Prograis (29-3, 24 KOs) compared the punching power of Jack Catterall (30-1, 13 KOs) to that of WBC champion in recess Devin Haney (31-0, 15 KOs).
"Jack definitely hits harder than Devin. The knockdown against Devin was just due to a loss of balance. Right now, I feel I would be a much better fighter than I was during that fight with Haney. I wasn’t in the best shape in San Francisco and had a terrible fight.
Jack is very calm. He’s better than you think. When you look at him, you think, 'I can beat this guy,' but then you step into the ring," said Prograis.
Prograis faced Devin Haney in December 2023 and Jack Catterall on October 26. In both cases, Regis lost by unanimous decision.
