Anthony Joshua No Longer a Top Heavyweight

Anthony Joshua No Longer a Top Heavyweight

Former Super Lightweight champion Regis Prograis explained why he does not consider former champion Anthony Joshua a top representative of the Heavyweight division.

Can we call Anthony Joshua a top Heavyweight? I don’t think we can keep calling him that.

Is he in the top 5? I don’t know. I’d say top 10. There are other fighters. They don’t have the same name as Anthony Joshua, because he’s just marketable. He looks like a damn superhero. He’s 6’6”, muscular, ripped, so he looks like a superhero.

In terms of marketability, yes, he’s the best. But as for fighting skills, I think there are other guys who can definitely beat him. So yeah, I don’t know,” said Prograis.

Regis Prograis (30-3, 24 KOs) won his previous fight against Joseph Diaz. Anthony Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs) has not fought since his loss to Daniel Dubois. Among possible opponents for his return are Jake Paul and Tony Yoka.
