Erik Bazinyan (29-0, 21 KOs) defeated Jose de Jesus Macias (28-11-4, 14 KOs) by unanimous decision (UD 10) in a fight for the NABA and NABF North American Second Middleweight titles (up to 76.2 kg).

Steve Cladgett (34-7-2, 24 KOs) knocked out Alberto Machado (23-3, 19 KOs) in the third round.


June 2 - Temecula, USA:

Fernando Vargas Jr. (8-0, 8 KOs) defeated Heber Rondon (20-4, 13 KOs) when the referee stopped the fight in the second round by the decision of coach Rondon (RTD 2).

Lawrence King (12-1, 10 KOs) forced Marco Reyes (37-9, 28 KOs) to submit in the sixth round via his corner's decision (RTD 6).

Adelaide Ruiz (13-0-1, 7 KOs) knocked out Maria Cecilia Roman (17-7-1, 0 KOs) in the eighth round (8 KOs).
