ProBox CEO Confirms Roach Broke Hand in Fight with Cruz

ProBox CEO Garry Jonas revealed that American Lamont Roach indeed suffered a hand injury in the fight against Isaac Cruz, which took place on December 6 in the USA.

“It is impressive that Lamont fought the second half of the fight with one hand. He broke his right hand halfway through and demonstrated huge heart. We did an X-ray, and it confirmed that he has a broken hand.

First Lamont will have to let it heal properly, which means there will be no quick turnaround for him. We will do everything possible so that he gets rematches against Cruz and Davis when it becomes possible,” said Jonas.

The bout against Cruz ended in a draw. This was the second draw result for Roach in 2025.
