Official: Plant and Charlo Get Opponents for May 31

It’s official — former world champions Caleb Plant (23-2, 14 KOs) and Jermall Charlo (33-0, 22 KOs) will return to the ring on May 31 in Las Vegas, USA, with both fights set to headline the same card.

Plant will face 26-year-old Mexican contender José Armando Reséndiz (15-2, 11 KOs), while Charlo will square off against 33-year-old American Thomas LaManna (39-5-1, 18 KOs).

For Charlo, this will be his first fight since 2023.

Plant last fought in fall 2024, when he scored a ninth-round TKO victory over Trevor McCumby.
