Oscar Collazo Names "Top 5 P4P" as Goal for 2026

WBA and WBO minimumweight world champion Oscar Collazo reacted to being ranked tenth in The Ring magazine’s pound-for-pound (P4P) rankings.

“I was very surprised and impressed. It was something I really wanted. One of my achievements was making the P4P rankings, and now we’ve been given that opportunity.

I’m very happy that people are paying attention to the lower weight classes. I’m trying to change the situation.

I know that by the end of 2026, I will be in the top 5 because I am pursuing fights to become the undisputed champion,” Collazo said.

Collazo (13-0, 10 KOs) knocked out two opponents in 2025 and became the third minimumweight boxer ever to enter the rankings. Previously, the division was represented in the top 10 by Ricardo Lopez and Ivan Calderon.
