Usyk Speaks on Itauma for the First Time: Is He Ready to Face Him?

Three-time undisputed world champion, 38-year-old Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk, responded to a question about 20-year-old British heavyweight prospect Moses Itauma and his victory over Dillian Whyte in their recent fight.

– A wonderful person, a great fight. I think Itauma is the future of boxing, I like this guy.

– Is he ready to fight you at 20 years old?

– Yes, yes, absolutely, – said Usyk.

Itauma (13-0, 11 KOs) knocked out Whyte (31-4, 21 KOs) in the first round of their clash. Earlier, it was reported that the Chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority Turki Alalshikh expressed interest in staging a bout between Usyk (24-0, 15 KOs) and Itauma in the Ukrainian’s next fight.
