Oleksandr Gvozdyk Reveals Plans for Next Fight

Ukrainian light heavyweight Oleksandr Gvozdyk (21-2, 17 KOs) has confirmed plans for his next fight — and he's aiming to stay as active as possible in 2024.

“I was pleased with my win over Anthony Holloway. He’s not a top-level opponent, but he went the distance with solid prospects and has fought in higher weight classes,” said Gvozdyk.

The 2018 world champion added that he intends to fight again on June 28 on the undercard of the WBA/WBO cruiserweight title fight between Gilberto Ramirez (47-1, 30 KOs) and Yuniel Dorticos (27-2, 25 KOs), scheduled to take place in Anaheim, California.

“My plan is to stay as active as possible this year. I hope to fight on the June 28 card, then again on another Ramirez undercard — and maybe close out the year with a big fight. I feel more motivated and focused than ever before. This is a new chapter for me, and I’m ready to return to the top. Follow me — I’m ready to become a world champion again,” Gvozdyk stated.

In April, Gvozdyk bounced back from his loss to David Benavidez by knocking out Anthony Holloway in the third round.
