British Heavyweight and former two-division world champion Lawrence Okolie is offering to help influencer–heavyweight Jake Paul prepare for his upcoming fight against Anthony Joshua.
“I want to help Jake Paul. I want him to have a chance. I want to go to Puerto Rico. I don’t want anything bad to happen to him, for him to get completely destroyed in the first round or something like that if AJ gets going.
I have a fight coming up, but I’ll find a couple of weeks. I want this to give Jake Paul the chance to tell himself: ‘I’m going to step in there against a 113-kilogram muscular guy from England — this big man, Olympic champion, former two-time Heavyweight world champion — in front of millions of fans on Netflix,’” Okolie said.
The fight between Anthony Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs) and Jake Paul (12-1, 7 KOs) will take place on December 19 in Miami, USA. Joshua will have a set weight limit he must not exceed, and the bout is scheduled for eight rounds.
