Muratalla – Cruz Purse Bid Postponed

The International Boxing Federation (IBF) has postponed the purse bid for the Lightweight title fight between IBF Champion Raymond Muratalla and Andy Cruz, reports insider Dan Rafael.

The purse bid will now take place on October 23, following a joint request from both camps.

In May, Raymond Muratalla (23-0, 17 KOs) defeated Zaur Abdullaev by unanimous decision. After Vasiliy Lomachenko announced his retirement, the American was elevated to full IBF Lightweight Champion.

Andy Cruz (6-0, 3 KOs) became the mandatory challenger in June after stopping Hironori Mishiro via fifth-round technical knockout.
