Return: Israil Madrimov’s Opponent Announced

Former world champion from Uzbekistan Israil Madrimov (10-2-1, 7 KOs) has received his next opponent. It will be the representative of the Dominican Republic Luis David Salazar.

The confrontation will take place on January 24 in Las Vegas, USA, at the Fontainebleau arena. The bout will be part of the card, the main event of which will be the duel between Raymond Muratalla and Andy Cruz.

For Madrimov, this fight will be the first after two consecutive defeats. First he lost to Terence Crawford, and then — to Vergil Ortiz. Israil has not won since the spring of 2024.

Salazar (20-1, 7 KOs) has not lost since 2021 — right now he has a streak of five victories in a row, and only one of them was secured by judges' decision.
