Lewis Discussed Whether Usyk Belongs in the Pantheon of the Greatest Boxers

Former undisputed heavyweight world champion Lennox Lewis shared his thoughts on whether three-time undisputed champion Oleksandr Usyk should be included in the pantheon of the greatest boxers in history.

“Definitely. Definitely.

He has achieved so much. And what’s important is how he achieved it. He is a relatively small man who faced off against big giants. But he stood his ground,” Lewis said.

In his previous bout, Usyk knocked out Daniel Dubois in the 5th round of their July rematch. The Ukrainian’s next opponent could be the American "Bronze Bomber," Deontay Wilder, with whom negotiations are reportedly underway for a 2026 clash.
