Lapin Responds to Riyadh Season’s Refusal to Host Usyk vs. Parker

Serhii Lapin, CEO of three-time undisputed heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk’s team, has commented on Riyadh Season's recent statement that they will not be involved in organizing a bout between Usyk and Joseph Parker.

“According to Turki’s statement, this is their show, and they have every right to decide who fights and when.

It’s perfectly clear that Turki is the one making these decisions.

Oleksandr has already had two incredible fights with Tyson Fury in Saudi Arabia, and everything was executed at the highest level.

We’re grateful for that,” said Lapin.

In his most recent outing, Usyk (24-0, 15 KOs) stopped Daniel Dubois in their rematch. Parker (36-3, 24 KOs) last knocked out Martin Bakole.
