Head of K2 Promotions and former promoter of Oleksandr Usyk, Oleksandr Krassyuk, shared his expectations for the upcoming trilogy bout between Derek Chisora (36-13, 23 KOs) and Dillian Whyte (31-4, 21 KOs), scheduled for December 2025.
“It’s going to be a spectacular show! You know, I’m friends with Derek, but I also have a good relationship with Whyte. This will be a collision of two rhinos — real heavyweights, two strong, seasoned men. Maybe we won’t see a lot of speed in that ring, but we’ll definitely see something like a fight between medieval knights — swords, armor, horses. Something like that.
I remember watching old kung fu movies as a kid, and they had that technique of the ‘drunken monkey.’ In his last bout, Chisora looked like he was fighting in that exact style — like a drunk man, but still throwing punches. That’s Derek Chisora’s technique,” said Krassyuk.
Chisora (36-13, 23 KOs) hasn’t lost since 2022 — since then he has defeated Gerald Washington, Joe Joyce, and Otto Wallin. Meanwhile, Whyte (31-4, 21 KOs) lost his most recent bout to Moses Itauma by first-round knockout.
Chisora and Whyte have met twice before — Whyte won the first by decision and the rematch by knockout.
