Keyshawn Davis Not Planning to Fight in 2025 — Reveals Possible Return Timeline

Former WBO Lightweight Champion Keyshawn Davis has opened up about his future in boxing, revealing that fans shouldn’t expect to see him in the ring anytime soon.

– Are you going to fight again? I have no idea — maybe in a year, maybe two, maybe six months?

– Probably in about a year. I need some time, – Davis replied.

– Are you training?

– No. I’ll train in Colorado, – said Davis.

In winter 2025, Davis (13-0, 9 KOs) captured the WBO title by defeating Denys Berinchyk, but was later stripped after failing to make weight for a scheduled title defense against Edwin De Los Santos on June 7. The fight was postponed, and Davis has remained inactive since.
