Kazuto Ioka makes knockout debut at new weight

On 31 December at Ota-City General Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan, a WBA bantamweight (up to 53.5 kg) title eliminator took place between local fighter Kazuto Ioka (32-4-1, 17 KOs) and Venezuela’s Maikel Ordosgoitti (15-2, 14 KOs).

The bout ended in an early victory for Ioka — the Japanese star scored a knockdown in the second round and finished the fight in the fourth. KO 4.

With this win, Ioka bounced back from two consecutive defeats to Fernando Martínez. For Ordosgoitti, it was his second loss in his last three outings.
