George Kambosos Announces First Tournament of His Own Promotional Company Ferocious Promotions

George Kambosos/ Boxing News

Former world champion Australian George Kambosos revealed that soon his promotional company will organize a full-fledged boxing tournament, which will also be promoted exclusively by them.

I look forward to the opportunity to promote my first separate professional boxing event in Sydney in the middle of this year. Although my company, Ferocious Promotions, has proudly partnered with some of the biggest players in this sport on huge stadium events, this will be my first official card as a promoter organizing the show.

The main focus will be on showcasing the best young talent of Australia, built on real 50-50 matchups – real fights that matter, with genuine competitive interest. Australian titles and regional titles will be on the line, following the same plan I used to climb to the very top of the sport.

The goal is simple: to create a clear path and invest in the next world champion to come out of Australia.

Stay tuned for updates — Ferocious Promotions is coming soon,” reported Kambosos.

Parallel to his promotional activity, the 32-year-old Australian continues his boxing career. The last time George Kambosos entered the ring was in the summer of 2025, fighting for the IBF Super Lightweight title. That duel ended for him with a defeat by technical knockout in the 8th round to Richardson Hitchins.

It is worth noting that this was the second stoppage defeat in the Australian's career. Previously, in May 2024, he lost in a fight for the vacant IBF belt to Ukrainian Vasyl Lomachenko.
