Jake fires back at Ngannou: “Just say you were already humbled in boxing”

Heavyweight boxer and influencer Jake Paul has officially confirmed that his November 14 fight against Gervonta Davis will not take place. Paul is now weighing two options: find a replacement opponent and keep the original date, or postpone the fight. Among the names discussed as potential replacements were Anthony Joshua, Andre Ward, Francis Ngannou, and others.

Ngannou later confirmed that he had indeed been approached — but said the offer was “disrespectful” and explained why.

Jake Paul responded to Francis on Twitter:

“Dear Francis, just say you were already humbled in boxing and you’re scared to lose to Jake Paul. I’ll accept that.

You’re easy work, brother. Stubborn,” wrote Jake.

One of the leading candidates to face Paul now appears to be Rolando Romero, who has already posted a mock fight poster with Jake on his Instagram.
