American influencer and cruiserweight boxer Jake Paul (11-1, 7 KOs) revealed that he's currently in talks with several high-profile opponents.
The list of potential foes includes both media personalities and elite-level boxers, as Paul continues to chase a world title—and a future showdown with Canelo Álvarez.
“We’re discussing fights with a number of big names — Gervonta Davis, Anthony Joshua, Badou Jack, Ryan Garcia, KSI, and Tommy Fury. There’s no shortage of options.
I’m especially interested in a possible fight with Jack, because I want to become a world champion. That makes Zurdo (Gilberto Ramirez) or Badou strong candidates in my eyes.
As for Canelo — that bout will likely happen in two or three years, once his current contract runs out. I believe that fight needs to happen, and the fans are truly waiting for it.
If I had my pick, I’d want to fight Gervonta first, then Joshua, and finally Canelo,” said Paul.
Paul’s next confirmed opponent is Julio César Chávez Jr., with the bout scheduled for June 28 in Anaheim, California, USA.
