Two Sanctioning Organizations May Add Jake Paul to Their Rankings

Heavyweight boxer-influencer Jake Paul says he could soon appear in the ratings of two major organisations.

“My goal is to become a world champion, and the WBA and WBC plan to rank me based on my performance. Once I’m in the ratings, I can fight for a title.

Chávez is a serious opponent, a former world champion. Ten rounds with him is the perfect test before what will ultimately be a title bout.”

The WBC belt is currently held by Badou Jack. The WBA title belongs to Gilberto Ramírez, who fights on the under-card of Paul–Chávez against Yuniel Dorticos.
