Jake Paul Agrees to 99:1 Purse Split in Joshua’s Favor

Head of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority Turki Alalshikh revealed that American influencer‑boxer Jake Paul has accepted his proposal for a 99–1 purse split—with virtually all the money going to Anthony Joshua—for their potential matchup.

I’m not against what Jake Paul is doing in boxing—it’s good for the sport because it draws in the younger generation. But I am against some of the fights he’s taking.

Right now I’m thinking about a bout with Joshua.

If Joshua destroys him—that’s great for me. The headache named Jake Paul disappears from my mind.

If Jake Paul wins, I’ll know Joshua is finished, and Paul deserves his ranking and a future in boxing,” Alalshikh said on Tha Boxing Voice.

Jake Paul (12‑1, 7 KOs) defeated Julio César Chávez Jr. by unanimous decision in June.

Anthony Joshua (28‑4, 25 KOs) was knocked out by Daniel Dubois in the fifth round last September. The Brit underwent elbow surgery in May and plans to return to the ring in November or December.
