Jake vs Joshua Is Bigger Than Joshua vs Fury, Promoter Explains

Nakisa Bidarian, promoter of American boxer and influencer Jake Paul, believes that Paul’s upcoming matchup against former world champion Anthony Joshua is a bigger event than a potential fight between Joshua and another former unified heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury.

“It’s almost as if they’re trying to appease Riyadh Season by saying: ‘Oh, the serious or major events will be next year.’ But those big events definitely aren’t coming next year — because this is the biggest fight.

Like it or not, this is a more significant matchup than anything Anthony Joshua would do in February. It’s a much bigger fight on a global scale than Joshua vs Fury. Not even close. This is the biggest fight. This is the biggest event,” Bidarian said.

The showdown between Joshua and Paul will take place on December 19 in Miami, USA, and will be streamed on Netflix.
