Insider Reveals Timeframe and Possible Venue for Usyk–Wilder

According to BoxingScene insider and journalist Lance Pugmire, a fight between reigning WBA, WBC and IBF Heavyweight champion and three-time undisputed champion Oleksandr Usyk and former division champion Deontay Wilder is planned for the first half of 2026.

He also claims the bout should take place in the United States.

“Las Vegas, the state of Texas – the best choice of venue,” Pugmire wrote.

As a reminder, it was Usyk who initiated the idea of this matchup. Wilder responded to the challenge.
