“I’m Ready.” Mikaelian Responds to Opetaia’s Fight Challenge

Newly crowned WBC cruiserweight world champion Noel Mikaelian has responded to a fight callout from IBF titleholder Jai Opetaia.

“Great, let’s do it — I’m ready. Just tell him to sign a big check,” Mikaelian said.

To recap, on the night of December 14, Noel Mikaelian (28-3, 12 KOs) defeated Badou Jack by unanimous decision in their rematch to win the WBC title at cruiserweight.

On December 6, Jai Opetaia (29-0, 23 KOs) knocked out Huseyin Cinkara in the 8th round.
