Spencer Brown, manager of former heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury, has commented on the possibility of a fight between his fighter and WBC interim heavyweight titleholder Agit Kabayel.

“Number one, they’re both in the same stable with me, number two, they’re very good friends, they’re extremely good friends and Tyson has shares in Gold Star so it would be very funny.

Tyson has so much money he doesn’t know what to do with it and Agit’s not short either so that will probably never happen. I’m going to rule it out now, but you never know in this business,” Brown said.

Tyson Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs) has not boxed since December 2024, when he lost twice to Oleksandr Usyk and then announced his retirement. In early January, the ex-champion confirmed that he will return to the ring.

On 10 January, Agit Kabayel (26-0, 18 KOs) will face unbeaten Pole Damian Knyba (17-0, 11 KOs).
