Rafael Espinosa Stops Arnold Khegai Inside the Distance

On November 15 at Arena Coliseo in Mexico, 31-year-old WBO featherweight champion Rafael Espinosa (28-0, 24 KOs) faced 33-year-old Ukrainian contender Arnold Khegai (23-2-1, 14 KOs).

The fight ended between the 10th and 11th rounds, when Khegai’s corner refused to send him out for the next round.

For Espinosa, this marks his fourth successful title defense and his fourth consecutive stoppage win. Khegai suffered the first stoppage loss of his professional career.
