Winner of Murtazaliev–Kelly Is a Target for Jaron Ennis

It has been revealed who may become the next opponent for former world champion Jaron Ennis of the United States. The names were confirmed by his promoter Eddie Hearn.

“The trainer and manager of Kelly, Adam Booth, reached out to us regarding the organization of the fight. At the moment I do not represent Josh Kelly, and Murtazaliev is currently with Kathy Duva, Luis DeCubas, and Egis Klimas, with whom I have a good working relationship.

I agreed to the deal to make the fight. I like this matchup. Murtazaliev is a very good fighter, and we are investing in this division together with Jaron Ennis.

Every time a British fighter faces a genuinely strong opponent for a world title, it interests me… When we make a deal, obviously, we want to have ‘our horse in the race,’ so to speak. We’re putting our money into this fight. We’re interested to see how it plays out,” Hearn said.

Earlier, Ennis stated that he would like to fight in the United Kingdom.

The fight between Bakhram Murtazaliev and Josh Kelly may take place in January. The IBF title currently held by Murtazaliev will be on the line.
