Dillian Whyte's Promoter Confirms Talks with Itauma

Michael Ofo, the promoter of British heavyweight Dillian Whyte, has confirmed that negotiations are ongoing for a potential bout against British prospect Moses Itauma.

“Discussions are still ongoing.

We haven’t committed to anything yet. Moses is one of the opponents we’re in talks with.

But again – Dillian takes his craft seriously. He wants to fight the best, and that’s not just talk. We’re open to speaking with anyone who believes they are the best.

A fight with Moses would be fantastic. It seems like everyone’s written Dillian off, and that only adds to his motivation in training. He’s in shape, he’s active. So if the fight happens – it will be a great one.

But nothing is finalized yet – we’re still in the negotiation phase,” said Ofo.

August 16 has previously been mentioned as a possible date for the bout.
