De La Hoya Doesn’t Rule Out Zurdo vs Jake Paul

Golden Boy Promotions founder and CEO Oscar De La Hoya shared his thoughts on a potential bout between his fighter, WBA and WBO Cruiserweight champion Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez (47-1, 30 KOs), and influencer-turned-boxer Jake Paul (11-1, 7 KOs).

“Zurdo wants to make history. He wants to become the undisputed world champion, and maybe even step into the ring with Jake Paul soon. Who knows — anything’s possible,” said De La Hoya.

On June 28, both Ramirez and Paul will compete on the same card in Anaheim, USA. Gilberto Ramirez will face Yuniel Dorticos, while Jake Paul will fight Julio César Chávez Jr.
