Omaha Hosts Parade for Crawford: Champion Appears on a Throne

In his hometown of Omaha, Nebraska, USA, a parade was held to honor Terence Crawford’s historic achievement of becoming an undisputed champion in a third weight division.

Crawford arrived at the celebration seated on a throne. The ceremony was a fitting continuation of his September 13 victory over Mexican star Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, whom he defeated by unanimous decision to claim the undisputed Super Middleweight championship. Ahead of the bout, Crawford had promised that Canelo’s fans would “go home in tears.”

This was not the first parade held in his honor. Back in 2023, after defeating Errol Spence, Crawford also celebrated with fans in Omaha. At that time, he had become the undisputed Welterweight champion and appeared dressed as a fisherman — a playful nod to Spence’s nickname, “The Big Fish.”
