After Canelo: Crawford Says He Might Drop Back Down in Weight

Two-time undisputed world champion Terence Crawford (41-0, 31 KOs) shared what he might do if he defeats Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez (63-2-2, 39 KOs). Their upcoming bout, scheduled for September 12 in Las Vegas, will be for the undisputed super middleweight title — a victory would make Crawford a three-time undisputed champion.

— So after that, you’re retiring? Because at that point, you’d really have nothing left to prove. If you become a three-time undisputed...

— If?

— What’s left to prove after that?

— I could go back down to 154.

— To fight who?

— And do it again.

— Isn’t that too much?

— I can do it again.

The Canelo vs. Crawford bout will take place on September 12 in Las Vegas.
