Craig Richards knocks out Dan Azeez in the 12th round

In the early hours of December 21 at Legon Sports Stadium in Accra, Ghana, a boxing event took place headlined by a bout between Craig Richards (20-4-1, 13 KOs) and Dan Azeez (22-3-1, 14 KOs) for the vacant IBF International title in the heavyweight division (over 90.7 kg).

The fight ended with a victory for Richards by technical knockout in the 12th round.

Richards had last been in the ring in March, when he knocked out Padraig McCrory in the 8th round. In October, Dan Azeez defeated Sulaimon Adeosun by technical knockout in the 4th round.
