Andy Ruiz Explains How Jake Can Beat Joshua

Former Heavyweight world champion Andy Ruiz explained how influencer-boxer Jake Paul can defeat former world champion Anthony Joshua.

– What advice would you give him?

– I think the main thing is to have faith, bro. Have faith, don’t be afraid, and do what you’ve got to do. You know, ask God for that victory — and He will help. And just be fearless. That’s what you’ve got to do. You’ve got to be fearless and give it everything you’ve got.

– Is there some secret to boxing a guy like that?

– Use the right hand. That’s exactly what Jake Paul is looking for — the right hand. And if he lands it, he can do serious damage. A lot of people underestimate Jake Paul, but he’s actually a good fighter and he’s very dedicated — and that’s what I like about him.

– Have you already spoken to Jake on the phone before the fight?

– No, not yet, but I’ll message him. I’ll definitely reach out to him and try to give him a few little pointers,” said Ruiz.

Paul (12-1, 7 KOs) vs Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs) will take place on December 19 in Miami, USA. The eight-round Heavyweight clash will be streamed on Netflix.

In June 2019, Andy Ruiz (35-2-1, 22 KOs) defeated Joshua by seventh-round TKO.
