Kevin Lerena is a South African professional boxer who competes in the super heavyweight division. He was born on May 6, 1992, in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Kevin began boxing at a young age. In his youth, he achieved victories at the national level, which led him to focus on a professional boxing career.
Career:
Lerena began his professional boxing career in 2011, competing in the heavyweight division. In 2017, he won the IBO title in this weight class, which he successfully defended six times in a row.
In 2022, he moved up to super heavyweight and, later that December, fought for the WBA Regular title against Daniel Dubois. Although Kevin knocked his opponent down three times in the first round, Lerena was defeated by a technical knockout in the third round.
Currently, Lerena holds the WBC Bridgerweight title. On May 1, Kevin successfully defended his belt against Serhii Radchenko in Pretoria, marking the first-ever defense of the WBC title in South Africa.
